At Trinity Church Henley we take the safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults very seriously and are committed to ensuring a high standard of care.
Our commitment
We aim to promote a safe environment and culture at Trinity Church Henley. This includes safely recruiting people, obtaining DBS clearance, and supporting and training all those with any responsibility related to children, young people and vulnerable adults. We will respond promptly and competently to every safeguarding concern or allegation. We will care pastorally for victims/survivors of abuse and other affected people; this includes responding appropriately to those who may pose a present risk to others. This is in line with the Church of England’s Promoting a Safer Church document.
Please refer to our Safeguarding Policy for more details.
