Women’s Retreat

Join us for a weekend of rest and connection as well as teaching from the bible on, “Sorrow and joy: learning to pray from the Psalms in all seasons.” In our distracted age, it is hard to stop to listen to and speak to Jesus and to spend meaningful time with others. This is a wonderful opportunity to make friendships and connections within Jesus’ family and to grow in our relationship with Him. We’ll enjoy sessions together learning from the bible, praying and singing, as well as plenty of time to rest, walk and do activities together.

Location

St Katherine’s Parmoor – a beautiful old house with 10 acre grounds, set in the quiet, Chiltern village of Frieth just 20 minutes from Henley-on-Thames.

Speaker

Harriet Algeo is married to Nick and has three children, Phoebe (10), Arthur (8) and Olive (5). They have just moved to Bracknell to start a new church there. Prior to that they have done ministry in Leeds, the Gambia and East London. Harriet is trained as a secondary English teacher but is currently completing a masters at Union School of Theology. She loves parties, feeding people, swimming in rivers, spontaneity, and endlessly rearranging furniture!

Prices and Booking

Price range: £152-182 depending on room type (single or sharing and ensuite vs shared bathroom). This includes accommodation for both nights and all food and drink.

Pay it forward – an option to pay £200 to make someone else’s place more affordable for them.

There is space for around 33 of us to stay in a mix of single and twin rooms, a good few with ensuite facilities.
