Sundays

At our Sunday services, children spend the first 15 minutes in church with you and the rest of the church family before going to their age-appropriate groups:

Sparks

(0-2.5s)

For ages 0-2.5 at the 4pm service. This is a supervised creche with plenty of toys and books to enjoy.

Candles

(2.5-4s)

For ages 2.5-4 at the 4pm service. In Candles we start to learn big truths for small hearts from the Bible as we sing songs, do crafts and play together.

Lanterns

(Rec-Y2s)

For those in Reception to Year 2 at the 4pm service. In Lanterns, we look together at God at work in the Bible, we pray to him, we play games to help us learn more about him and we do crafts to help us remember what we learn. As we do this, we also hear one another’s news and have great fun together.

Torches

(Y3s-Y5s)

For those in Year 3 to Year 5 at the 4pm service. In Torches we seek to deepen our friendships with one another as, together, we dig into God’s word and see how what we read applies to our life. We do this in all sorts of different ways: acting bits out, playing games and asking questions.

Beacons

(Y6s-Y8s)

For those in Year 6 to Year 8 at the 4pm service. Typically in Beacons we follow the sermon series as we do a Bible study together helping us to own Christian faith for ourselves. We build friendships together as we share life, study God’s Word and pray.

Bonfires

(Y9s+)

For those in Y9+ at the 4pm service. In Bonfires, over a plate of doughnuts and biscuits, we chat through the sermon we’ve just been listening to and think about how this applies to our day to day lives. It complements our time together at Friday Night Youth Group and helps deepen our friendships.

Sunday Morning kids

(0-11s)

For any children at primary school at the 10am service. We love having kids at the morning service and together we learn from the Bible, pray, play games and do crafts that all mean we get to know both God, and one another, better.
